Charley Harper Birds

It doesn't look exactly like Harper's original, with the differences in proportion and all. Made in Illustrator, lots of shapes used along with some line segments and overuse of the Pathfinder tool!

A background for my livejournal icon community, featuring Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright), and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) from HBO's Game of Thrones. The screencap of Isaac Hempstead Wright is actually from an upcoming horror film, "The Awakening", which I used instead of a screencap of him as Bran Stark because he looks rather creepy there. The text, "The night is dark and full of terrors" is from the Game of Thrones Season 2 teaser (which seriously redefines the term teaser). It took me over an hour or more to make this since I didn't really start out with an idea - took me awhile to find the right caps of Sansa and Arya too. Textures used were made by slayground at tumblr, including the crow (Bran dreams of crows!) and the hidden wolf (Ooh, symbolism!). I am such a fandom nerd sometimes. NON, JE NE REGRETTE RIEN.

AP English "Lord of the Flies" Beast Project

Made entirely on Photoshop CS5, using HD screencaptures from "Lost: Season 1" (crashed plane/vines) , "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone" (the boy, who is actually Rupert Grint) , and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" (the snake, Nagini). The skulls and hand silhouette are textures from the internet, whose credits I will add later. Quotes are taken from William Golding's "Lord of the Flies".

Font used is "Elephant", capital M was combined with a brush by hawksmont. The other brush on the right was made by hawksmont as well.
